PSG International Staff

One of the major reasons for our success is the qualifications of our staff and tour directors. Having highly qualified tour directors and coaches who have vast experience working with people traveling in foreign countries is the key to a successfully executed tour.

Tour Directors

Nick Roberts
Nick founded PSG International. The company was founded in 1993 to give young players the opportunity to play soccer on the international stage. Nick holds a USSF A Coaching license. He has coached at the youth, collegiate and professional levels of soccer. Nick also has many years of directing youth programs and in recent years has been the Director of Coaching and Player Development for Santa Rosa United in California. During his tenure at this club the club won two national titles. Nick played soccer in England and at NCAA Div II, Mercyhurst College. He played and coached professional with the Columbus USL team and was assistant coach/head scout at The Columbus Crew from 1997-2001. Nick continues his involvement in the game as Head Men’s Coach at Urbana University in Ohio. Nick Resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Kori and son Sebastian.

Mike Lapper
Mike brings a great deal of experience to PSG International. He has played professional soccer in England, Germany and The United States. He represented the USA National Team and played in the World Cup in 1994. He played college soccer at UCLA and won the NCAA Div 1 National Championship. His experience playing overseas in England and Germany brings a great deal of knowledge to traveling teams. Mike has also served as assistant coach for The USA U 20 national team and is currently assistant coach of The Columbus Crew in Major League Soccer. Mike resides in Columbus OH with wife Tara and two sons, Tyler and Kyle.

Dr. Steve Dawson
Steve Dawson is the Head Coach of Wittenberg University NCAA Div III program. He has been at the helm for 26 seasons and the program continues to compete at the higher levels of the NCAA Div III level. He gained his doctorate in Sports Sociology for The Ohio State University. Dawson teaches sports sociology at Wittenberg. In addition, he is also the technical director for Team Ohio FC youth club in Columbus, Ohio. He holds the English Football Association Coaching Badge and The USSF ‘A’ License.

Ian Cooke
Ian brings a wealth of experience form his working and teaching experience from around the world. His has taught in Columbia, Zambia, Japan, England and now in Michigan USA. Ian holds the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and the English Football Association Coaching Badge. He has over 15 years experience coaching and managing girls and boys youth soccer teams.

David Wall
David has vast experience in playing and coaching. David played for Derby County in the English First Division, before moving to the United States and playing for the The Minnesota Thunder in The A league. Dave more recently has been the Recreation Director for Tonka United in Minnesota and currently is the Assistant Coach for Div 1 NCAA program, Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio.

Mark Burton
Mark a native of Vancouver, Canada currently resides in Manchester, England. He holds the position of Director of Coaching for Egerton Youth Club in Knutsford. In addition he continues his role as an Academy Coach at Manchester City FC of the English Premier League. Mark has extensive experience directing tours and coaching with groups from North America and Europe.

Janice Kauble
Jan Kauble who has been with PSG International since 1997 directs the company administration. Jan who joined the company after her son traveled on tour with PSG International in 1996. Jan has traveled extensively with our groups directing various aspects of the tours.
